Dear Anita, Rule out Lectureship for the time being as adding up a Masters & Phd qualification will give you better career in teaching. Out of MBA & GNIIT , I think MBA - IT regular from a good college will give you better career opportunities(may not be in Software Development).

But why only MBA - IT since u r from English background, u can choose any of the specializations of your interest. Also since its a big decision for you try taking the Psychometric Career Test to understand self better.

Dear Anita, Shekar is right, an MBA would be a good career option however choosing it requires you to to do some home work and some reflection on your part on some of the following things: 1. What is your aim/aspiration from the MBA 2. Which area interests you 3. How much are you willing to spend in time and money for the preparation as top notch colleges like ISB/IIMs would require CAT /GMAT scores. Other things can be addressed once you work upon these.
