Hi Tushar,
Yes it is entirely possible for you to join software industry. Before that you must try to find whether you will like the work profile or not. Try to spend some time on programming and meet few people just to get overview of the industry. If you still find it interesting then do course in JAVA/Dotnet or even Oracle from reputed institute. I am sure some job offers will come by from small IT firms.
Growth like BTech seems difficult in initial years, you need to get job first and show your IT skills to the employer. After some years of experience you may well be able to compete with BTech students.
Hope this helps !!!

Hello Tushar,
You may opt for any of the course mentioned Java or Dotnet is just my personal preference because of job opportunities. Also you may choose any computer education institutions; NIIT/SEED/Aptech are just few of them. Try to find which one has good faculty in your area. To my knowledge all of them also provide placement assistance post successful completion of the course. Reputed institution is very important otherwise companies wont give you interview calls, keep that in mind.
All the best !!

Dear Tushar
Growth is equally good in both fields for right candidate. Yes in IT starting salary is high but finance also provides high growth after initial years. I think you first need to find what interests you, then only you will be able to find success. Both fields skillset keep changing every 4-5 yrs. If you are not interested then it will be difficult for you keep yourself updated with industry requirement.
Hope this helps !!!
