You can do MBA in marketing, HR Finance , Retail. You can do MBA in any field. Find your area of interest and then do MBA in it. Also tell me about job profile , it can prove useful in giving good advice. Visit different department or read newspaper about different MBA options.

MY company is manufacturer of coffee, tea machines which are using in malls corporate areas. So my role is just the troubleshoot the machines if there is any problem. it is a field work. so if i want to do an MBA which stream i should choose and what will be the profile and salary after two years with MBA degree and two years of experiences in service engg. Thanks please reply me your idea is very helpful for me. as i want to take the admission within next few months.

You are doing very technical work and you will not be requiring much of these technical skills in work. Currently just prepare for the exam. At present you don't need to think too much about options. First excel in entrance exam , at the time of admission if you had problem in selecting courses then ask me. Unless you don't do well in entrance exam you will not be getting s admission in good colleges. And as i have suggested visit different department or read newspaper about different MBA options. Something that you can remember in marketing you will be travelling a lot, Go for finace if you are good with finance and have interest in finacial terms, HR is about recruitment, training , labour laws, networking, building rapport with people. Retail about sale of commodities, marketing strategies e.t.c . Actually read about different options as there are many , or ask about different options to me or wait at least at the time of admission because anyhow you want this at the time of admission

Don't go in such company. When i was studying i used to get same kind of mail. If you don't want to lose job then go for part time , correspondence or executive course in MBA. I will suggest you to ask the HR person in your company- If you do MBA what are the chances of growth because moving in other companies after getting experience will be easy. You will not be searching job as fresher . Also tell me what are the other department in your company

Ok let me tell you the whole thing. My company is quite small company. The turnover of my company is around 25 crore per year. Because of this they are giving me very low salary. Right now my salary is 6000rs/month which is very low. There are almost 100 employs are currently working. In my office there is a purchase department, a sales department, and operation department, and last service department in which I am working. Also I have observed that my senior is having 10 years of experience and his salary is almost 20000 to 25000rs/month which I think is too much low. Also I had a discussion with the HR. He told me to do PGDBM in operation management. After that I can switch the profile and that time my salary will be around 13000rs/month and this process will take at least one and half year. Don’t you think that it is too long period? I also think that I am the only graduate who is working in service department otherwise all my coulees are either Diploma holder or ITI, and they are also getting 6000rs/month. Now you tell me what should I do? What do you think?

After MBA you can also move to other company. Till you don't find other company you can work there. You can also move to other company now if you don't like your work . While doing your MBA be updated about job vacancy in good companies irrespective of salary . Be updated through job portal, recruitment consultancy, newspaper, social networking sites ( Linked in, Apna Circle ) and try to enter in company and after MBA you will have better profile. After MBA you can also start something of your own. First get the degree .
