You can do both the courses. Do in which you are interested as both are good course. If you are interested in engineering and are working then go for AMIE. It is the best option available to complete engineering in India for working people. After completing the degree you will be engineer . With your work experience and AMIE qualification you will move ahead with better job opportunities. You can also do further studies like M.TECH , MBA if you want to as your degree is equivalent to B.TECH. So work hard and ALL THE BEST. As for B.SC ( IT) is concerned if you are interested in IT then go for it. If you are interested in IT then M.SC ( IT) is necessary for a better career option. Feel free to ask.

but mam, one think i observed that many of people not aware about AMIE......i don't know what's the reason behind it. but i am interested in AMIE & going for it.

Because people complete B.TECH from good college , sometime people are not interested or not ready to think about alternative,in our country people always like to follow path which our elders know or your relatives have done that. e.t.c there are lot of reasons. Work and study hard. All the Best

Meraj, AMIE is made for people who are working.When you will start your AMIE coaching you will find that most of the people doing course are working. So you can't say that you are working and can't do this program. You need to do little more hard work than people who are not doing this program. One last & very important question mam, yesterday i Couriered my form with required documents to IEI headquarter (kolkata),my friends were saying that after 3 month books will dispatch with membership no. but you will not applicable for this June. is it true,i don't want to waste my time & want to appear in this coming June.

AMIE examinations are conducted in the first week of June and December every year. Registration and confirmation take 3 months so you need to wait for 3 months. But you are eligible for exam conducted in June.you need to wait more if you have not given all the documents. You had applied in Jan which is the first month and June is sixth month so you have enough time. Feel free to ask further question.
