Prashant i guess you are a fresher who is completing his B.TECH. Now if you want to go in management side there are two ways of going in it- with your B.TECH degree work for few years and then move into management side of work and second is to do MBA and then directly move to management side of job. If you start something then there is no problem as you will be handling all kind of work including management.Don't be impatient. There is lot of time . So think and decide. You can ask further question to me.

Thank you for your reply Jyoti.
Yes, i think i'm being early for this a bit, but, as you can see i really want to go for a reputed management college in India or even abroad and i want to go there all geared up. Even admission requires a lot of preparation. So, i would love to know about any such activities i can participate in which will count as a plus point.

You need to prepare for entrance exams CAT, MAT, XAT , SNAP and for abroad-GMAT . Even certain colleges accept GMAT score in India They check your logical reasoning, English, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation and some of them also check general Knowledge. Go through last year question papers for better idea. There are lot of coaching centres like- Career Launcher, Times, IMS e.t.c providing coaching in this. I will suggest you to participate in Group Discussion, Debate, General knowledge test. It will build your confidence in terms of communication skill and also confidence to face such tests. Read newspaper regularly for increasing your information and for vocabulary important for English test. Also read about different management options like HR, Retail, Marketing as certain colleges offer courses in only specific management courses.Brush up your basics in Maths which you have learnt in school. Practice and ALL THE BEST. Feel free to ask further question.
