There is nothing like advantage or disadvantage .It is more to do with your capabilities and also money. Sometime students do with B.COM or sometime student do it after B.COM. To do CA or not CA also depend upon what you want to become. C.A is more professional course and you had better job opportunities after completing CA . You can also go for CA alone . Actually if you have capabilities to do both course then you should do both as in limited time you have two degrees. When people opt for CA course many of them opt for some other course with that or some part time job. Or they start CA after completing their regular courses. Also Many time after getting admission in CA student find it difficult or boring, many of them also failed. In these situation at least you can have B.COM and it is also easy if you compare this to CA .At least you have one degree on which basis you can do further studies and there is no loss of valuable years.
