I am a 46 yrs old chartered accountant with 15 yrs of post qualification experience. For the last 6 yrs , I am into ERP finance consulting. I want to switch over to core finance. How do I go about it? Will any certification be of any help. Please advice.

I am a 46 yrs old chartered accountant & Cost Accountant with 15 yrs of post qualification experience. Initially after qualifying as a CA, I was into audits and due diligence. For the last 6 yrs , I am into ERP finance consulting in BAAN. I want to switch over to core finance in the areas of investment banking etc. How will I go about it ? Will any certification be of any help. Please advice.

Abhijit try for course like MBA ( finance), Certified Financial Planner,Certified Financial Analyst. All of them will help you in making career in core finace sector if you are not satisfied with your current job. After MBA (finace) you can easily make career in investment banking. Try to do it from top MBA colleges for a good start. Feel free to ask further question.
