Parents are compelling me to pursue MBA but i'm more interested in computer field both in Graphics and networking field. Can you suggest me some good options regarding this?

I would like to know about the courses that i can do to deviate from my electronics field to computer as i'm not at all interested in Electronics. I rather choose Computer field in Graphics, Animation or Networking. Could you help me?

Neeraj first make up your mind in which field you want to go. Find your interest and prioritize them. Every person are interested in more than one thing but it is difficult to make career in all. If you will be confused then you will have to do what your parents want. To make a firm decision it is important that you should be sure of things that you are doing. As you can have course in blend of animation and graphics but you need to go for different course for networking. Feel free to ask further question.

Neeraj you have two option as you are an engineering graduate. Either you can try for M.TECH( you will get a degree and if you do it from good college you can directly placed in good companies). Or go for short term course In case of hardware and networking there are lot of certificate course In case of hardware and networking - the first thing is to visit your nearest reputed computer institute like NIIT, IIHT, Jetking, Aptech.Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), DOEACC, CMC Limited e.t.c. and find out the courses available . Tell them your education qualification completely. so that the course is one stage ahead of your qualification. Whatever course you do it should have international certification like Cisco, Microsoft, Nortel, Sun Microsystems, Prometric , Juniper e.t.c These are the courses you can try for-Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft’s MCSE Novel’s CNE o Sun Microsystems’ Sun Solaris Administrator , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator,Microsoft Certified Solution Develope e.t.c Visit these sites for getting detail of certification CISCO: www.cisco.com Juniper: www.juniper.com Prometric : www.prometric.com Microsoft: www.microsoft.com Nortel: www.nortel.com Novell: www.novell.com Sun Microsystems: www.sunmicrosystems.com. Mam, how about MBA. Is taking MBA much valuable after Engineering?

If you interested in going in field of engineering, specializing in chosen field of engineering, in further study of technical concepts, like doing technical work in future also then go for M.TECH. M.TECH is the best option available to you. If you are not interested in doing these things then MBA is the best option. Then work hard for MBA exam MAT, CAT, XAT. MBA will give you job in the side of management
administration or management That technical work or background is more of option
You will get job in different field like HR, Finace, Marketing, e.t.c department Retail, operation. It is more of choice and interest. You can also do MBA while you are working at any point of career. Even company arrange for them. So decide and if you still have query you can ask.
