Concentrate on engineering . Try to get B.TECH in Biotechnology or which you will get in the field of engineering .Try to do B.SC in any one of these field biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology or biochemistry.There are only few colleges which offer degrees or engineering in genetics. They are offered as subsidiary. You can study upto M.SC , M.TECH , or even PHD . Especially when you are doing B.SC M.SC become very important .
