You can take up any subject. Students from science, arts, commerce all background are eligible. Take up any stream in which you are interested and feel confident about that.Work on and improve English or the language in which you want to pursue journalism. Whether you are speaking or writing you need to be good with language . Also read newspaper, magazines e.t.c regularly to be updated about what is happening in world. In entrance exam your language skill and general awareness is tested.
