Respected Sir, I'm pursuing B.E(CSE). I would like to do M.E also. After M.E, should I do Ph.D or M.S in U.S.A? Which would be more better in U.S.A?

I would also like to know the websites for the organisations which provide free-lancer jobs. I kindly request you to reply at the earliest and guide me through your fruitful advice.

Suresh, M.E and MS is equivalent ....These both are PG courses , which we refer as M.E or M.Tech if you do the same in USA its called MS.

Ofcourse doing MS and PHD in USA is claimed to be more fruitful for research oriented curriculum. Further is individuals interest.

What kind of freelancing site you looking for ??? Some projects ?? You will find number of them and google is best resource , You can also take up some projects for your college and professors too !!

All the best !!

Dear Suresh,
you have not mention what you want to be.

1. B.Tech in itself is a very good job attracting course. If you want to enter into the corporate/industry world. You are well enough prepared for that having B.Tech degree in your hand.Just go in the market and put yr efforts for a job.you will get it.
For the prospective of job,M.Tech/ME is not a good option.(i.e. post graduate from India).
If you really want to go fo high study with industry mind.it is advise to you, first have one or two yr job experience and then go for MS(post graduate from abroad).this short work experience will clear a lot of things which you are not able to see at this stage.

2.If,you are not a Industry oriented people i.e. you want to establish yourself acadamically(want to be professor or research scolar). It is advisable to you to go straight for Postgraduation and than Phd.
for this option, higher study from india or abroad will depand on various things
2.1 yr familay dependancy on you.
2.2 yr economy status
2.3 yr score in entrance exam(GATE in india,IELTS/GMAT for abroad).
if you still feel that oyu did not get clarity.you can contact me with specific query.

Hi Suresh

Please be very sure about doing ME/MS. Your academic and professional interests should lead you to the decision of pursuing a Masters ofr a PhD. As said earlier the choice between the two would depend on your interest in research and the nature of job you want.
There are several good places in India where you can pursue MTech like IIT, BITS, IISc, NITs etc. But if you want to gain more cultural and professional exposure you might want to look at not just USA, but Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Switzerland etc. There are some really good universities and people working out there.
