Hello Nikhil
Seeing at your qualification, i would suggest you to switch in some finance related company rather then be in BPO industry.
Working in BPO is not the bad thing to anyone's profile but as you already have done MBA in finance, then this is the right time to switch in your parent field.
Moreover if your age is not more then 30yrs, then this is the best time to make some experiments in your career. It may happen that your salary pkg is not that good in the beginning days in finance company or any bank, but for long run it would add value to your profile and after sometime with your hard work, you would definitely get a very good job with handsome salary package.
All the best..

Hi Nikhil,
There's nothing wrong being in a BPO..what all matters is your work profile. Usually, a typical BPO dissects a process into various simple sub-processes and only a small/few part of it is dealt in a BPO organization thro' outsourcing. This usually leads to cramped knowledge and exposure. However, it's not the case with every BPO especially when the entire dept./process is outsourced.
Further BPO has it's own advantages like personality grooming, talent based growth oppertunities in contrast to no. of years of exp. based in other industries, prevalent in most of financial inst's.
I would suggest not to rush for leaving BPO just for the name sake & to dig deep into the profile available in your prospective orgn., the exposure it imparts and all. At the end of the day, your resume should have enough exposure, skill sets .
Wish you the best in life.
Cheers... Amay //

The question here is whether you like the BPO job and what is your growth chance here. If you feel that you are under-utilizing yourself in this industry, its time for you to switch over. Looking into your qualification, you may get a better job too, I believe.
