What is Chartered Accountant(CA):

Chartered Accountancy is a professional course in accounting introduced in 1949. The Institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI), formed in 1949, is both an examining and licencing body. The three – and – a – half year training is very comprehensive and covers all aspects of practical training such as accounting, auditing, taxation and financial analysis.

How to become a Charted Accountant CA:

* Enroll with ICAI for Common Proficiency Test. Any student who has passed Class X can enroll for CPT.

* Appear CPT examination after clearing 10+2.

* Join PCC (Professional Competence Course).

* Articled training and register for a 100 – HR Information technology Training (ITT) after passing CPT and 10+2 examination .

* Undergo a 100 hr information technology Training(ITT) on completion of three months of articled training

* Appear in Professional Competence Examination (PCE),

* After passing PCE register for Final course with the Board of Studies and complete articled training of 3½ years.

* Appear in final examination

* Enroll ICAI for membership

Chartered Accountant (CA) Career Offers:

With the introduction of CPT, now after completing Class XII, it only takes four years to become a Charted Accountant. The profession offers cent present job assurance. Though around 10,000 CA professionals graduate every year, the demand and supply gap still exists. According to an estimate, India would need 50,000 CA by the end of 2010.

Eligibility for Chartered Accountant CA india:

Charted Accountant (CA) course is one of the most economical professional course available in India. The course is open to all. There is no cut-off mark or minimum mark. Anybody who has passed 10+2 from a recognized institute can register for the course. However students with a background in mathematics in Class XII will be at an advantage.

Hi Dear, Chartered Accountancy(CA) is an extremely good career stream that a 12th passed out commerce student.. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) regulates the enrollment and certification of CA’s in India.

How to become a Charted Accountant (CA)::

In order to become a Chartered Accountant, the candidates need to clear a set of examinations, which are held in different intervals of study. Their curriculum of study includes theoretical education and practical training also. PE-1 PE-2 and Final part are the three sections of tests the candidate should attend while doing the course. In addition, they should obtain two and a half years practical experience under an authorized Chartered Accountant. They are required to do a 15 days General management and Communication skills program also so as to become a CA. The tests are held twice a year.

Eligibility for Chartered Accountancy Exams::

1) For PE-1: Those who have passed the intermediate examination from commerce stream can register for the test. It. Those who are appearing for the 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply..

2) For PE-2: Those who have passed the PE-1/Foundation course are eligible to apply for the second level..

3) For Final: Aspirants who have successfully completed the PE-2 exam can apply for the final level exam. In addition, he should acquire a qualifying certificate from the Board of Studies..

Apply for the chartered accountancy course after 12th::

Candidates who have finished their class 10 can apply for the Competency Professional Test (CPT). But, it is only possible for them to write the examination after finishing their class 12. There are no age or mark restrictions in particular.
