Clinical research is a branch of Medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness of Medications,Devices,Diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use. These may be used for prevention, treatment,
diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease.
The Clinical Research industry in India has grown from Rs 20 crores to Rs 100 crores in the last three years.
it is expected to touch Rs 5,000 crores by the end of 2010.
Due to the amount of work increasing in clinical research, There is a vast requirement for qualified and competent professional in Clinical research.

After BDS you can try short certificate or diploma courses in different branch of dentistry. Even though this is not valid for a academic posting, this will help you in your practice. This site offers orthodontics course in India and even has an online course.
