IGNOU is a good University.MCA From IGNOU is very good course, and you can get a good job in a reputed company in the IT industry with this degree. To get a good job will depend upon your skills and performance in MCA programme.
As you are 27 years old so have you any year gap or you have done some other course also..Please let me know about that so that I can suggest you more.

sir, i ve completed my Hsc in 2001 after that i took admission in ycmou bca in 2006 & completed in 2009.after that i m persuing mca 4 th sem of ignou. As i ve very much long gap in my career .(i.e 8 years) will mnc's consider my resume for job?. will mnc select me in there companies?
i m 27 year old now.
ccna certified.
mcp certified.
but no work experience.
can i start as a fresher.
plz help me sir!

Hello Shailesh,
You have a long year gap and yes it will affect you at the starting period of your career.But now you can't change it what you can do is you can acquire more and more knowledge.Its good that you are CCNA and MCP certified.So just gain more knowledge so that it can reflect at the time of your interview.Another thing is when you get a long break after the semester exam you can do some internships from any company.This will add an extra value to your resume.
In the process of selection of candidates some companies do not specify any criteria.So you can take those opportunities and don't leave any flaw for them.Show your knowledge their properly to get selected.

Hi All,
I am sankha, I just completed BCA this year from IGNOU. I think after BCA you have infinite opportunities based on your skill set…Frankly speaking degree can not give you a right job. After completing my BCA i just join Php training & got jobs within 3 months. Php is a very simple scripting language. I thankful to my traning institute PHP KOLKATA, to make my careen better in PHP industry.
