i want to do a part time job with my graduation and CS course? should i?

i have given my 12th exams this yr ni i belive i will get 80% atleast now i want to do cs wid graduation .but i aslso want to do some part time job to get some pocket money for my needs n be self dependent but my family is not allowing me to do so they think i will get distracted but i kw my aim n i would be focussed on it.
