I am seriously interested in architecture but am doubtful about the career prospects after B.Arch. If I go for it considering my interest will it be any good for my career thereafter?

I had made up my mind for B.Arch since 11th std but when I talked to some people who have done it, I got mixed reactions regarding career prospects as some of them even had to change their field completely. So my questions are- 1. What kind of jobs do architects do? 2. How much they earn? 3. What are the career prospects?
