Dear Hema, As you know first year of all the engineering branches is common and your specialization starts from 2nd year. In Textile you study about various fibres like cotton, silk , jute etc. Then there are processes like spinning, weaving, dyeing etc. Also you study some mechanical aspects of how the machinery used in these process is made.It also involves study of chemicals used in various processes. And of course there are some subjects like fashion and marketing etc.
