» The career chronology to be an architect is:

» Subjects requiremnets are Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry at the 10+2 level.

» After fnsihing 10+2 with good % write architectural entrance exams conducted by different colleges.

» The Council of Architecture conducts an aptitude test on an All India basis called as  National Aptitude test in Architecture (NATA)

» Entrance to architecture programmes at IIT's is through the national level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

» AIEEE conducts an All India basis for entry in B. Architecture and B. Planning in government and private institutes.
