Ages ago Thomas Elva Edison almost equaled the power of sun and created light. To do so he used the science of atoms and electrons, that is nothing but electrical engineering. Theory and practical both, in electrical engineering, require a good deal of imagination. Also this is one field of engineering that can never die. 
Whatever it is, it needs current which needs an electrical engineer. If you have an analytical bent of mind and like thinking and reasoning, a career in electrical engineering could be your calling. Well, you could be another Edison. Who knows?

» To get an entry-level engineering job, one usually needs a bachelor's degree in engineering. . The career chronology to be a electrical engineer is :

» The minimum eligibility required to get admission in Bachelors in civil engineering  is 10+2 with good marks.  

» The course requirements in 10+2 are Physics, Chemistry and Math.                       

»    The 10+2 mark cutoffs for admissions are different for different institutes. Ex: BITS-Pilani ( min 80%) IIT ( 60%)

»  Opportunities lies in going further for higher studies for Masters and Ph.D
