» Clearance of the aptitude test that is conducted by leading fashion schools of the country. It is generally divided into 2 rounds-written and situation.

» A degree in Fashion design or fashion technology, preferably, from a leading institute for better job prospects.

» A basic degree in arts or science, followed by a Diploma in fashion designing offered by a few design schools in the country.
