» The course requirements to enroll in fishery is 10+2 with biological science as one of the subjects.

» One can enroll in bachelor of fishery course offered by several colleges either on merit basis or giving entrance exam conducted by individual colleges.

»  A Bachelor's degree in biological science or natural resources management from an accredited college can also fetch you start a career in fishery.

» Admission to the post-graduate programme is based on the All-India Entrance Examination (JRF Examination) conducted by the Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR), New Delhi.
