» Admission to the graduate courses in state and agricultural universities can be based on merit or performance in an entrance examination conducted by individual college.
» Or through writing entrance conducted by ICAR (Indian Council of agricultural Research)
» The minimum eligibility required is 10+2 with science stream or agriculture as subjects.
» The course requirements are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For research field maths is also a requirement.
» Can opt for Bachelors degree in Horticulture as a separate discipline or as a subject of BSc Agriculture Science.
» After doing BSc in Horticulture one can continue his/her further study in the field by doing MSc or PhD.
