Recently Public sector banks in India have been coming up with lot of vacancies at the entry level positions namely clerk and Probationary officer (better known as PO). For clerical posts the minimum eligibility is 10+2 from any recognized board and preferably having some computer knowledge, while for PO the minimum eligibility generally is graduate but having a Masters or technical qualification (CA,ICWA,MBA) serves as an advantage.

Having seen the tough economic times these jobs have become very popular among the youth mainly because of the high job security they propose, high reputation in society and last but not the least a high paying job. eg- going by CTC (cost to company) calculations the CTC for a SBI PO comes out to be well above an entry level job in a software company and that too at the ease of mind.

Mad-rush for these jobs has made these entrance exams highly competitive and this calls for lot of practice because of the nature of the exam and expert guidance.BankPariksha.com provides banking exam aspirants with updated information regarding released notifications, free practice tests and tips for cracking the final stage of selection process Group discussion and interview.
