Apart from being the first online admission test BITSAT boast of having a well balanced test covering the regular PCM section and at the same time giving due weightage to English Proficiency (15 Questions) and (b) Logical Reasoning (10 Questions). 
Thereby it’s of great importance to prepare seriously for these 16.67% of the test component. With my experience of BITSAT 2008 (score=322) I list down few suggestion for this section. I am sure these suggestions would help you get into your dream college BITS-Pilani.
Pick up any good book and stick to it. I prerpared using BITSAT explorer textbook and my friend shares same experience for Arihant’s BITSAT book as well. So, you can go for either.
Recommendations for preparing for BITSAT english and reasoning:

Do practice all the reasoning and English proficiency questions religiously.
- Once you are thorough with your PCM section ,start taking mock tests . But don’t jump to taking mock test before completing your revision of all the sections.
- Despite of portion being small for English and resoning which could be covered in a week, but I would recommend you splitting it in phases.
- Takeup 20 questions for english and 20 reasoning in a week. Start doing this atleast 30 days before your BITSAT.
