Share on Facebook UGC (University Grants Commission) on August 25 declared IIPM (Indian Institute of Planning and Management), one of the leading management institutes of India, not eligible to grant degrees such as MBA/BBA/BCA degrees to students.
In the past too MeraCareerGuide had brought to student's notice the unrecognized universities as per UGC's standards. UGC is an organization established by the Union Government to ensure the Universities in India meet a set standard, and the board has the power to take back the 'recognized status' of any University in India.
To many IIPM as a failed university may come to shock as IIPM is one of the most desired universities across the nation.
