The Final list of institutions admitting students (with intake in each discipline and category as per reservation) through AIEEE-2012 including counseling procedure, counseling schedule and counseling centers would be displayed on the CCB site. It is updated regularly and you could check. Once the results are out, you will have to take part in the counseling procedure and fill your choices of the college. You get 20 days for that.

After completing this course you can different type of jobs in IT industry for example computer designer, software developer, software engineer, database designer, computer graphic and technical programmer e.t.c . As soon as you complete your program start searching for job through job portal like monster, naukri, fresher world , shine , times jobs , or placement consultancies, or newspapers , or social networking sites like LINKEDIN , APNA CIRCLE e.t.c .I will also suggest you to complete your graduation even simple B.A , B.COM if it can come in your budget. Even correspondence course can work . The qualification will make you eligible for lot of govt and private job. Apart from that trying for part time job in recruitment or placement consultancies , try some teaching job ( getting in school might be difficult but you can defenitely try in coaching institutes in subjects you think you can teach ), you can also try for sales and marketing jobs , BPO or KPO jobs ,, in showroom or retail shops , advertising companies e.t.it can help you financially . Sorry for a very late reply, But I am not in personal favour of lateral entry and diploam programs for engineering. Even if you speak to students who have taken this path they will also suggets you to take the direct engieering route.

Now reasson I am not in favour is that

1) Its not that well recognised as the normal engineering degree

2) Regular class room teaching of 11 & 12 is required as a person to grow.

3) It gets difficult to adjust with college curriculum and students when you take entry in second year.

4) You will need to work harder to get a job as this is not a well recognised means....
