To do B.arch {Architecture course} you need to have PCM stream. You can do courses in Interior designing and decoration.

Interior Designing involves the designing and coordinating of the decorative elements of the interior of a house, apartment, office or other structural space, including colour scheme, fittings, furnishings and sometimes architectural features.

Interior Designers can find employment with architects or architectural firms, builders, public works department, hotel and resort chains, hospitals, town planning bureau, regional and metropolitan development works, private consultancies, studios and theaters and exhibition organizers. etc. They can also set up their own business.

They receive instructions from their client or employer on the type, function, capacity and approximate cost of the building required. They survey and inspect the site of the proposed building and obtain an accurate site plan. They, then prepare a sketch scheme of the floor plans, the elevations, and the perspective drawings.A good architect is the one who strikes a right balance between aesthetics and practicality.
