Dear Friend

I am happy to see that you are serious about your career. A focused approach is always good in building a solid career, but in your case you have just completed your 12th, you are still to start building a foundation for your career.

BBA is a very general course regarding Business studies and management. The level of the subjects taught is very basic and can at best be described as just a “bird’s eye view” of various business and management specialties. To expertise in Travel and tourism or any other field, you not only have to gain first hand practical experience, but would have to specialize in your chosen field during your PG level. Hence take one step at a time and learn to walk perfectly before you run.

Start with a BBA-general or still better a B.Com (Hons). Work hard, develop an in-depth understanding in these subjects and then decide on a right PG course. There can be host of other career opportunities that would open up for you after completing your BBA(Gen) or B.Com including Tour/Travel, Finance, Marketing, HR, Accounts, Company secretary, ICWAI, CA etc.

best of luck for your great future ahead........ Atul Nigam...

Hi
  • Opting for career completely depends on the student.....
  • Since you can't make out for choice, you must first identify your strong points.....
  • If you interested in technical field then you must go for B.Tech.....
  • And if you are interested in marketing kind of job then you must go for BBA.....
  • But still you can't make out then you must first do B.Tech and then MBA, so both your fields will be opened.....

Write for further queries.....

There are two options for you. Option 1: You can complete your BBA and immediately join a MBA degree. This will be a fresh graduate MBA. You can join an institution in India or abroad depending on the finances available with you. Option no 2 : You can work for atleast 2-3 years and gain some experience in the industry of your choice and then opt for an MBA. This will help you understand the course better and will increase your chances in the job market with a post graduate degree and a work experience in hand. Hope this helps.... ► Read more
