After doing Masters you can sit for UGC-Net exam and think of being a lecturer. B.Ed could be your back - up plan. But before taking any such decision just try to figure out as to do you really have an aptitude for teaching or you are just trying to play safe. Because if you are just thinking of playing safe then I suggest hink again . There are other opportunities available like you can think of getting into a banking or insurance sector. You can even plan to sit for competitive exams like Bank PO, UPSC Exam etc. Good LUCK... ► Read more

My suggestion to you would be to opt for a career you want to do. Doing a B Ed. is also a good option also. You can do it after you graduation also. Doing a B Ed after you have done a PG will help you become a senior teacher whereas after graduation you become a junior teacher.

Good Luck!

Hi Kiran,

MBA education and NET will definitely give you a good degree college college. To teach B.ed students many colleges ask for M.ed qualified students but they do consider MBA education background. NET will be a very good advantage for you in field of teaching.

All the best

I would suggest you to go for an executive MBA course (in marketing if interested) from any of the premier institutes and pursue your further career in the marketing field. This would certainly be a value add to your CV and helps you in moving up the corporate ladder faster.... ► Read more
Hi Rahul

3 lakh is definitely not a good rank. If you take admission in an engineering college, there is doubt that you will get into a good college. This rank can get you admission in a local engg college, but not a good one.

Coming to Management study, you cannot directly take up MBA. YOu will first have to do graduation in any stream and then go for two/three year MBA course. (graduation course could be any-B Com, BA, Engg, ...).
Yes, commerce is an available option. You can take admission into that- though you may have some initiall difficulty in getting hang of accounts (but being a maths student, you shall be able to manage it)
