Hi,

It is absolutely fine if you do not want to become a doctor. Normally students think that they are left with no option if they have opted for PCB other than MBBS but this is absolutely wrong.

There are many options with you once you complete your 12th with PCB. You can opt for the following course:

1. Nursing
2. B.Tech in Biotechnology
3. B. Pharmacy

B.Sc Courses like:

1. B.Sc Botany
2. B.Sc Zoology
3. B.Sc Life Sciences
4. B.Sc Biotechnology
5. B.Sc Veterinary Sciences etc……..

You also have option of going for Commerce Courses like:

1. B.Com
2. BBA
3. BBM
4. BFA
5. CA
6. CS etc….

You can also opt for various BA courses like:

1. BA Psychology
2. BA History
3. BA Political Science
4. BA Geography etc….

Then you can even opt for some offbeat careers like:

1. Journalism
2. Mass Communication
3. Media Studies
4. Hotel Management
5. Cabin Crew
6. Animation
7. Designing Etc……

The decision on what career should be chosen should be dependent on your Aptitude, Interest, Personality and skills. You are better aware of what your strengths and weakness are and what long term goals you have set for yourself. It would be better that you take your career decisions keeping in mind all these things.

You can also take the help of the Psychometric Career Assessment that MeraCareerGuide offers for students to take better and right career decisions.

Best Wishes!
