Duration of ca after b.com - 1 to 11 of 34 results

Dear,

The duration will depend you how quickly you are able to clear each level. Normally it will take a minimum of 3 to 4 years to complete the course.

You need to begin with enrolling for the CPT level first. On clearing this level you can enroll for either one group of IPCC or both. On clearing one group you can enroll for the article ship training for 3 years. Along with this you need to complete orientation course of 35 hours and 100 hours of ITT training. On clearing both the groups you start preparing for the finals. You can appear for the exam six months prior to completing article ship.

Why you want to opt for CA after being an Engineer. If you wanted to become a CA, then why you didn't opted for it earlier...It's too late now because chartered accountany is a long duration course (approx. 5 to 6 years).. It's too late to opt for it.. I reckon It's not a wise option to opt for CA after doing Engineering, because they both are different poles, there is nothing similar between the two... You will have to start it from the basic. Engineer in E.E is a highly paid degree. So focus on one line is better for you.

All the best...

Hi,

This is a very common question that most of the students of your age ask. They want to go for a course that they can do in a short span of time and that is highly rewarding as well.

Comparing Charted Accountancy and Engineer is very difficult as both the courses are completely different. One requires a Science background and the other requires a commerce background.

See there are a few factors that one needs to consider before one actually opts for a course. Whichever course you opt for should match your Interest, Aptitude, Personality, Skills, Strengths and Weakness.  Try and analyze these and then opt for a course.

Remember that all courses are good but how much interest and aptitude you possess for it makes it suited for you.

If you choose a course that matches your interest and aptitude then it will be easy for you to make a career in the same. But if it does not match them then you will have to drag it throughout your life.

Once you are satisfied and happy with what you have you will be able to finish the course in the required time and will be rewarded as well for it. But if you are not happy with the course that you have opted for then it might become difficult for you to even complete 1-2 years in it.

So always go for a career in which you have interest in and not on the basis of the no. of years that are required or the salary you will get after completing it.

You can even take the help of the Psychometric Career Assessment that MeraCareerGuide.com offers to take wise and informed decisions.

You can write back if you have any further doubts.

Good Luck!
