I think you need to have a passion for the work you do, rather than concentrating on the place you stay. I understand your sentiments associated with the city where you have been broughtup, but at the same time please give more priority for the profession you have chosen. Hyderabad is not a bad place to stay at all and it is currently witnessing an IT boom. Why not accept a change in life rather than suffering in job which doesn't give you any passion! Hi Nishu,

You seemed to be confused about your career a lot. See you are the one who has to decide as to what you actually want in life. You being a M.Sc. Electronics student should at least wait for your result to come. Sitting ideal for two months is not a problem of concern as your results are also not out. If you want to do something so that you do not waste your time then you can do a course that is in relation to your own field.

You can always give any kind of exams you like that will only add on to your knowledge. But choosing banking as a career that is totally your own decision. If you want to go into banking sector thinking that that will help you in your MBA I would like to tell you, that might not be the case. If you want to give CAT for doing your MBA then you might as well start your preparation from now on even if you start working.

The ultimate decision is yours, you should always think if the career you are choosing is actually of your interest or not. Mealy opting for a career that one thinks is easy might not be the case. So always take a wise decision.

Best of Luck!
