Roorkee diet V.btc merit list - 1 to 11 of 97 results

Dear Ravi

NIT Suratkal , Warangal and Trichy are much better than Calicut.

So I would like u to prefer branches under these colleges.
As far as choice of branch is considered it depends on your interest.
Since these are government colleges which are always the preferred choices among the students I would like u to take up a couse in these colleges. As far as Dual course is concerned going by my friends experience the placements at Bits Goa have not been up to the mark this time.

So do consult you r friends as well as students who r already studying in these colleges and get to know about their colleges before u take up an admission.
I m sure u must be having a good AIEEE rank as well as a dscent BITSAT score.
Wis u best of luck for ur future.

First thing what is your interest - Take up that job where you are interested . In you are able to deliver result then sky is limit . You will find career opportunities in both the fields. Get to know fully what you will be doing in company once you take up any one profile. Its like people prefer MBA and engineering over other option but after doing course they get to know that this field was not for them , they find it boring , they are not able to give results. So think about your interset and abilities and take up that field . Make your interest and abilities as criteria for selecting the career option .

Metallurgists are employed in foundries, heat treatment shops, rolling mills, etc. industries. They are also employed in research laboratories, industries and plants extracting and processing metals like iron and steel, nickel, tin, copper, zinc, aluminum and brass etc. Tata Iron and Steel Company at Jamshedpur and steel plants of Durgapur, Bhillai, Rourkela and Bokaro also employ them.

Feel free to ask further question...

I myself did an executive full time 1 year MBA. So I can definitely guide you on this question.
Which is better - 2 year or 1 year. Well, it really depends how much time you have and what are your personal circumstances.

Since you already have 3 yrs experience, you will need atleast 2 years experience to do executive MBA. XLRI jamshedpur offers general management program but it requires you a minimum of 5 years experience. Similarly, IIMA offers executive MBA but requires minimum 7 years experience.

If you want to invest just 1 year and want to go for MBA with your current 3 year experience, I would suggest you to go for either Great Lakes Chennai OR ISB Hyderabad.

If you do not want to leave job and want to pursue an MBA, you can think of going for satellite based MBA from IIM Calcutta or from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Hope this helps
