What is the cut-off marks required in AIEEE-2012 to qualify for NIT admissions? - 1 to 11 of 24 results

As we can see from last year DAIICT admission list, the ranks were around 9000 (General category). Also the numbers of seat increases in AIEEE, so there will be a good chance that this year the rank can be around 9500. Although DAIICT has only 240 seats, so there will be good competition. Accordingly, for SC/ST or PH category the rank can go between 40,000 to 60,000 (approximation). So evaluate yourself and get the right college....

 It is tough to say that either you'll get a college from AIEEE list or not. But you can apply for state level universities which consider AIEEE score. Some of the university are:
Sharda University, UP
MDU, Haryana

Sorry in general category there is no seat available for you. You may apply for management seat (paid seat).
For SC/ST/PH or OBC non-creamy layer, there are seats available. But may be you have to compromise with course/college....

Sorry but your marks very low. You are just near to qualifying marks for counselling. It may be hard to judge any college for you. As your rank will be around 4 lakh or above. In General category there is no college in this rank.
If you specify your category then we may be some solution for you. But for general category you are just eligible for counselling(as per last year cutoff)....

As 38000 is not a good rank to secure NIT in general category in first cutoff so you may consider the following govt. /private universities or colleges:

Jaipur National University, Jaipur
Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram

You first secure a seat in AIEEE and have a look on second and third counseling. You may get a better option in second or third counseling....

Assuming you comes under open category, for your rank, you don't get in NITs.
You can try for new 10 NITs. you may get in any one of North-East NITs.

Yes, it is compulsory to fill AIEEE form to get admission into any of NITs or to be eligible for taking admission in state university (some university consider AIEEE score). But dont be panic, you have two attempts left out for AIEEE. If you havent filled any of the form and now planning to drop out, then you can utilize the other two attempts. Other then AIEEE some state university release their own form like UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University), IPU (Inderprashtha University Delhi), PTU (Punjab Technical University), RTU (Rajasthan Technical University) etc. Some of these university released their application form but you still have time to apply for. Online AIEEE Registration of counseling involves filling up choices, indicative seat availability, mock counseling and locking facility.......
1.All candidates declared 'eligible' for AIEEE 2011 seat allotment process are required to register online through Internet ( from places convenient to them.....
2.Access the website and click on Registration.....
3.The names of the two streams - Engineering and Architecture - will appear on the computer screen; click on the desired stream.....
